Get Ready! 2. Numbers Book

A two-level course for very young children with optional handwriting and number work.

GET READY! is a lively two-level course for children who are learning English for the first time. It is the ideal preparation for English at primary level, giving pupils that basic knowledge and feeling for English which is the foundation of successful learning. GET READY! teaches pupils to say and understand a basic English vocabulary and a small number of useful expressions. It teaches numbers and the letters of the alphabet and introduces pupils to the early stages of reading and writing.
The GET READY! Numbers Books are designed to develop the number concepts introduced in the Pupil's Books. These include number sets, simple arithmetic and the writing of the numbers. The Numbers Books are also the basis for teaching the English needed to deal with this area of language.
Other materials in the GET READY! course are Pupil's Books, Handwriting Books, Activity Books, and cassettes. For each level there is a Teacher's Book, providing detailed guidance on the use of the materials.
